Fate meant for us to be here. When I asked the son of the owner why the name for this store he replied that his dad just liked the name Arkansas (of course it is pronounced RKansas).

There is trash everywhere. It mars the natural beauty of La Ceiba.

It has seen its better days, but it is still in use. I had to come to this building to register our vehicle.

The beach in La Ceiba is littered with filth. And if that isn't bad enough, the city sewage dumps out in the the sea right in the center of town.
