This is where Sadie and Hannah will be going to school starting in August. Ellen and I visited it when we were down here in January, 2004 and were excited about what we saw. Most classes are taught in English, but the kids will mostly speak Spanish on the playground so Sadie and Hannah will want to learn Spanish as quickly as possible. Take a moment to look at some of the pictures on the site.
It rains 10 feet a year here and is otherwise hot and muggy.
A German couple runs this lodge/restaurant. It's only about 15 minutes outside of La Ceiba, but it feels like you are really in the jungle. It's been very cleverly designed and the food is some of the best in the area.
