Roatan Island - August 2004

The La Ceiba airport is very picturesque with beautiful mountains nearby. Flying to Roatan only takes 20 minutes.	It's not everyday you get to fly in a square airplane.	Much of Roatan is hilly which makes for pretty vistas.
This is the main tourist town in Roatan called West End. Consists of a bummy dirt road and a few decent restaurants.
Roatan is ideal for renting mopeds. Hannah (aka Mopped Mamma) and Will traveled many a mile on the moped pictured. Sadie and Ellen were not so enthusiastic.		Sadie showing you the way to the beach.
